EarthBound, Not to be Cheated On

Written by Cyber-Sushi

It has been about 3 years since I've received Earthbound as a Christmas present from my Aunt. My sister and I popped it in and were dazzled. We would fight over when it was her turn or mine. We would argue and argue. About a month later when we argued our way to the end of the game, our interest in Earthbound ended. There was nothing left to do. We found it was too easy ---- for one reason, the game genie.

Of course we could not live without our precious game genie to make us super strong! Today when I take a look at myself back then I say... "Eek" You haven't truly played earthbound unless you DON'T cheat at ALL. I started playing again, this time without cheating. I played and played and found it even better without that rotten game genie. Even though I still can't get the Sword of Kings, Gutsy Bat, Baddest Gaia Beam, Hungry HP Sucker, Insignificant item and all kinds of hidden things, I still loved it, and I still love it now.

Even when I heard of the "amazing debug menu" and I wanted to rush to try it to get the sword of kings, I stopped myself and decided to try to get it on my own! I fought Starman super after starman super, and even if I didn't get it, you still get this warm fuzzy feeling inside since you tried your best to get, and you didn't cheat.
