H'lo, Earthbounders. :) First, allow me to introduce myself, as
Falcon24, a particular Bounder that likes to put a twist on the most obvious of
circumstances. In other words...I don't right yer average article. Now that that's out
of the way, also let me state that I wrote this article quite some time ago, but never
submitted it. Therefore any references to the Giygas/Geigue theory are slightly
dated. With this said, enter the mysterious and devious article-writing mind of
Falcon24...watch your step.
Now, what's this I am seeing? Articles a'bound' about Giygas..Giygas is Geigue,
Geigue is Giygas, Giygas, Geigue, Giggu, Geek, Gorbitrov...blah blah blah. Well
personally, I don't care if Giygas is Geigue, Geigue is Giygas, or if Giygas is
Geigue's father's uncle's brother's nephew's cousin's former roomate! :)
I believe, why should we use such resources on an exhausted topic, when we
should be focussing on the true nature of Giygas, or Geigue for that
matter?(Writer's note-ahem..again, dated content) What if Giygas is truly our worst
nightmare, nevermind the Mani Mani(or could Giygas be Mani Mani too?)
Confused? You probably are. Well let me clarify. It is my belief that Giygas is none
other than Satan himself. The evidence is in favor of this. Just look at the facts:
-Giygas has unbelievable power. He is able to manipulate and control the minds of
anything, anyone, to do his bidding.
-Giygas possesses a legion of unholy minions that has no end. The Starmen are
innumerable, and even if you kill them, they never die(dare I say, Ghost of
Starman?)
-Giygas wins the souls of mortals by granting their deepest desires. It is my
belief(opinion, mind you) that Pokey was never evil from the beginning, and merely
had a grudge for some ungodly reason against Ness, perhaps merely a friendly
rivalry. He was touched by the devil's influence, and it corrupted him. Giygas
figuratively took his soul, and in return, gave Pokey what he wanted: power over
Ness.(or so he thought!)
-The devil has no true form. Remember the incomprehensible swirling background?
It had no decisive shape. And the devil usually takes the shape of what we fear
most, the evil withing ourselves. The Devil's Machine(DEVIL's Machine! A HA!)
showed Giygas as a slightly altered form of Ness, perhaps Ness' evil side was
still alive although Ness' Nightmare was destroyed.
-Remember how Giygas was finally defeated? Praying. No mortal weapon could
harm him in the end. He was, in essence, immortal. However, the prayers and
hopes of all the people of the earth overwhelmed him. Such goodness and
kindness was too much for a being of pure evil, and so he destroyed himself.
Finally, it should be noted that the devil can never die. Although Giygas was
destroyed, his hellish influence was transferred to Pokey's being(at least, that's
what I think). Pokey may now be a host for Satan. In other words, the devil will
never die, and even though it may not seem all to hopeful, there will be a sequel. :)
