Most of you have heard the rumor that the MoGBC petition actually had some effect on Nintendo. Now, you may ask if this is actually true. If so, the Earthbound community would change immensely.

People that had never heard of Earthbound would buy the game. After playing it, (assuming that the title of the game has Earthbound in it) those people would be curious about the EB on SNES. They would then go to blockbuster and rent the game. Next, they would play, the game, like it, and buy a copy. Nintendo would then realize how big a hit Earthbound 64 would be and they will finish it. Then finally we can all buy EB64. And it is all because of EB0 on GBC.
