As many of you know, one of the most mysterious and enigmatic characters that you first meet when you start a game of Earthbound is Buzz Buzz. Yup, you know who I'm talking about, but have you ever wondered about who this stranger from the future really is? Looks can be deceiving...and I'm not just talking about his suave dung beetle-like appearance either. Let's take a look at the evidence.

First and foremost, Buzz Buzz is not human. He's a talking bug...supposedly. How many talking bugs do you know personally? I can't think of any myself. There WAS the time when I ate a piece of Magic Cake...but I won't go into that. I saw alot of talking things that night. Um....anyways, like I was saying earlier...Buzz Buzz is not human. So, it's pretty safe to assume that he is alien in origin.

Second, Buzz Buzz time travels. From what I recall...time travel hasn't exactly been perfected yet. Buzz Buzz is 10 years from the future of whatever the date is in Earthbound. Taking a look at Earthbound's surroundings...it's pretty safe to guess that it's pretty close to our date. So, assuming that's true...I seriously doubt time travel would be possible anytime soon. So, how does Buzz Buzz know how to time travel? How did he get the information and knowledge? All the other time travelers in the game have been allied with Giygas.

Third, he knows alot about Giygas. He knows exactly when Giygas invaded and what his plans are. I read in a previous article that someone was wondering about just how Giygas and Starman Jr. knew where in time Buzz Buzz was to track him down. Kinda makes you wonder. How would Buzz Buzz know so much info about Giygas? Well, I've come to a conclusion....
