The topic for this week is: New Forums - React loudly and outspokenly about the big forum move that's supposed to be happening any time now! Is it good, bad, hilarious, serious, what? Better, or worse? Are you reregistering your old screenname or changing to a new one in a vain attempt to horribly confuse everyone? Use exclamation points! Also, remember that you don't have to write just on this topic. You can send me a letter about anything that sparks your interest. You don't have to write in on this topic if you don't want to. You can pick a topic and write about it, or, if you have anything else on your mind about EarthBound or Starmen.Net, please, send that in too! Everyone is encouraged to write in about whatever they're thinking about. Mailbag letters do not have to be long. The topic for last week's mailbag was: 1+2=what now? - So we've got our Mother and our Mother 2 sections, and they're chock full of stuff. But huzzah, we've recently added a Mother 1+2 section to shrinify our favorite compilation port. What we want to know is, what would you like to see in the section? I'm glad nobody tried to joke about how "1 + 2 = 3." That would have been highly classless. |

Hmmm...
I say that what the Mother 1+2 section needs is a secret section dedicated to Catgirl pictures. Then, there's the shrine to my eternal awsomeness, which can be integrated with the aforementioned secret section. And, we can't forget a seperate secret section dedicated to Jimmy Buffett. Let's just make the M1+2 section the "Easter Egg" section of starmen.net! Whaddya say? - Wote  I believe I'm answering for SimonBob 3 years in the past when I say CATGIRLS? In all seriousness, though, I can't really think of much to add to the section. The problem is, almost all information/media related to either compilation seems to already be in the M1 or M2 sections. The only thing I really want is more screenshots. By the way, SimonBob, were you able to travel to Ohio and utterly destroy the guy that stole your name? - Fishsticks Well, looks like it needs more Alt + Print Screen then! -dash badman Screenshots are illusions. Ok now on to todays mailbag. Well we need to see faqs about this great new game... you know check out whats new in the games and what stayed. It will all turn out good. Now I think we need to have someone follow the time until release in the US just to see if it will be released sort of like the EB64. Well i got nothin else to say since i need to go to sleep... really tired, because i did the skip to my lou streetball move into a giant skyhook over the backboard out of bounds for a 2 and it drained me. well see ya later P.S: Couple more weeks and ill be following hockey for SB... thats gonna be cool - Steve-o (Yukon. The differences between Mother 1 and EarthBound Zero is kind of vague...I'd like to see how the endings are different, what the friendship and repel rings do, etc.

I'd just like to say, good can come from reading old mailbags. i read the worst game one, it gave me a really wierd idea, from Sephy's letter of the week. I read his comment about dance dance revelution, followed by a comment on fighting games and got my idea... "Fight fight revelution" Wierd... basically, a fighting game but you control the fighter who does anything and everything you tell them to, you'd use either gloves or something that track movement and relay it fast. I have to get to english, so this idea is somewhat undeveloped, but oh well..
- Wierdman They have games like that. One by Konami lets you be a boxer! (And boy do you box!) -dash badman I saw that game in a Sarnia arcade once. My mom wouldn't let me play it. She holds a deep hatred of all things boxing. She can't even watch me play Punch-Out. Which is okay, I mean I'm not gonna be a boxer when I grow up so we never have to argue about it or anything. --- SimonBob |

I've actually started doing a rewrite for my fanfic (its a ways to go yet though), Simon, why didn't you tell me that I had a repetition in the 2nd paragraph?
Then again submitting something during a stint of sleep deprevation probably wasn't the best idea in the first place.. - Casgair Well, once Simon didn't tell me I was repeating myself in a submission I did for him. That happened to me when I played through Marvelous, and I told the monkey not to give me the key to the next area. :< -dash badman I don't usually edit letters unless they have swearing or innuendo or something, and even then I'm more likely to cut part or all of a letter before I'll change anything. Also, didn't you notice that Starman Jr. only uses PSI to attack? Buzz Buzz's superior speed and shielding abilities automatically makes him a winner against anyone who doesn't use physical attacks. How about a simple translation hand book? like key phrases to know or what choicest to make. If you play a game in japanise you'll encounter a "what did he say?" moment and you'll freak out. "IS IT THE FIRST THINGY? OR THE SECOND?" and when you fall down the stairs in terror, you crawl to your computer look at SM.net and the help you need is there . "Oh, he said, 'shall i stick forks in your eyes' ill put 'yes'" see, isnt that usefull?

Dear Mailbaggers,
I'm going off the topic because I think they shouldn't of made a mother1+2 section because its just like Earthbound0/Earthbound section combined now to my usual stupidy.... I don't know what to say so I'll say whats in my heart or spleen. I miss Buzz-Buzz because hes the real hero in EB not those Chosen 4. I bet he went through more pain than those four because he lived when Giygas was basicaly God but It got me thinking....Who is Buzz-Buzz? I mean they just show him once and hes gone! I want the epic tale of the hero Buzz-Buzz! I say EarthBound 2 should be a pre-qual of whats so important of Buzz-Buzz. Of course many may disagree because they want more Ness. Also They should bring back Belch.... - Zock Q. Endland But Zock! It's section openings like this that give dismal oldbies like me a chance to actually try and do something around here! Well, I saw lots of good mail this week. Some concerned Mother 1 + 2. Others, well, did not. I had a good time with all of them, and well, I hope do this again.
