There have been some questions about PK-Call'N. Here are some of the most common ones:
Q: Why not call Nintendo on 1 specific day?
A: If everyone called Nintendo on 1 day it would mostly likely anger them a bit with the large
amount of calls they would receive in such a short amount of time. Spreading out the call ins
also helps remind NoA how many fans are out there on a daily basis. Another reason is that some
people might forget to call on that 1 day. Something would happen like you had to go to work,
your sister wouldn't get off the phone, you just forgot, etc. In these 7 days it shouldn't be
too hard to call Nintendo just once.
Q: What happened after last years PK-Call'N?
A: Last year an estimated 200 people called Nintendo between June 20th and 27th. Keep in mind
this is a rough estimate based on the amount of emails and forum posts from people that called
in. There is no real way of knowing how many actually called in. But the calls did make an
impression on NoA as they still talk about the large amount of calls they received last year.
Q: Didn't last years PK-Call'N start in June?
A: It did. The reason PK-Call'N 2 is starting a little later this year is so that more students
are out of school around this time. Hopefully, this will mean more call ins.
Q: If this is a Starmen.Net event, what is ShadowX's site?

Q: What if NoA announces the release of Mother 1+2 in North America before we start calling them?
A: If NoA does announce the release of Mother 1+2 in North America you should still call and ask
about Mother 3. If NoA also announces Mother 3 then still call them and say "thanks." Its the
least we can do.
Q: I am not from North America, can I still call?
A: YES PLEASE DO! It does not matter what country you are from. If you want Mother 1+2 and 3
released in North America, let NoA know! The more calls, the better. Just know that additional
phone charges may apply. And remember to read the Phone Conduct.
Q: What happens after July 23rd?
A: Last year after the first PK-Call'N ended Nintendo did not make any mention of the event in
Nintendo Power or in any other form of media. However, Nintendo of America was affected by the
calls because they still remember and talk about amount of fans that called in last year. With
the recent announcement of Mother 3 coming out in Japan this year our hopes are high again that
NoA will take notice of the large number of fans that want to see more of this
series on North American shores.
