A skin is a set of graphics that replace common things, like buttons, boxes, and the background image. Winamp comes with a default skin which looks cool, but gets boring after a short while.

You can import custom-made skins though, to make Winamp look fancier or to personalize it. Here on Starmen.Net, we post EarthBound-themed skins.
