Well, the snow has been piling on all week, and is now over a foot deep. :D Yay for me! We haven't had snow like this in more than five years. :( Anyway, Fan Melee has been updated again. Luigi won, and this time, unbeleiveably, only one person got it right. Come one people! He's not that bad, is he? You should have a little more faith in the skinny green plumber! Just because he's always in Mario's shadow doesn't mean he can't hold his own in a fight! LEARN A LITTLE RESPECT, YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE- Well, anyhoo, enough rambling. Congrats to KrazyKraken for being the ONLY PERSON who managed to win this round. I also put up a few new screenshots in the Fan Shots section, once again courtesy of EBounding. I recieved those pics a few days ago, but I only now got around to optimizing and posting them. Really now, if it weren't for EBounding, the Fan Shots section would have almost nothing in it. Now you all should learn a lesson from him and send me screenshots. That is all. |

Everyone is sick of these stupid viruses and the people that open them thinking 'Wow, I don't even know this person, yet they're sending me photos! I bet these will be GREAT!' So please, use common sense and don't open weird files from people you don't know. Don't open weird files from people you DO know either. Hey hey! Fan Melee has been updated. It looks like I made a big mistake in the last match, because there were way too many winners. (ONOS!) But I think you'll find the next round slightly more challenging. >:D I also added a new Secrets Guide to the Strategy section, so for those of you who don't already know how to unlock all the little hidden goodies in Super Smash Bros.: Melee, go check it out now. I still haven't managed to get a video capture card, and my inbox has not been crammed full of SSB:M screenshots lately, so it looks like a few people are going to have their socks fed to the penguin. |

Just to let people know, I've updated and fixed stuff in the EB in SSBM page. Thanks to all those who pointed out some mistakes. Thanks to Titanic Ant for the cool logo too :) I'm still in need of a leftbar pic. The thing about leftbar pics is that they need to be easily readable. Also, an animated one would be good in this case, as it might get people's attention more that way. And we want attention drawn to this page. After 20 years of non-manga-y updatiness, I return with some more! Thanks go to Sr. Jonk, whose next goal is to bake EarthBound cookies, for setting me up with scans, doing editing of the scans, and lots of other hard work. Anyway, go enjoy the Manga section before it becomes a Pokemon Manga section. With luck the section will start being updated every Sunday again, with 2 more pages each time. I think we'll be able to get through only one volume before I leave, so we'll still have plenty of content for a long time. |

I updated Flukes. Good flukes this week, as always. Thanks a lot to the people who name their flukes correctly, you make me very happy. A note to everyone who is part of the Earthbound Team for the UD Cancer Project: UD has shifted the main focus right now to anthrax instead of cancer. This doesn't bother me too much, and after the anthrax protein is uncoded (which shouldn't take too long), then it will switch back to cancer proteins. If you only want your computer to do the cancer proteins, you can go to the UD site, go through the Device Manager, and deselect the box for anthrax. Be kind to your fellow Earthbounders, for they are people too. |

Since I know a lot of Smash Bros. Melee players don't know much, if anything, about EarthBound, I thought one of the best ways to let such people know more about EB was to make something like this. It's kind of basic right now, so I hope fans out there will pick up any mistakes or important stuff I left out and let me know about it. I'm talking of course about this. If you're ever somewhere talking about SSBM and somebody asks a question like "What in the world is Mr. Saturn?" or "Who's Ness? I ain't heard of him", point them to that page. That is an order, mister. In other news, a manga update coming tomorrow! EDIT: Oh yeah, I need a new logo for that page, the current one is pretty bad. I also need a leftbar pic for it. If somebody would like to help me out, I'll be ever so happyful :) :) |

Congratulations to the winners of the last round, who were still quite numerous even though I intentionally made it harder. I also added another Ness FAQ to the strategy section. It's excellently written, and is a must-see guide for Ness beginners and pros alike. Once again, I must inform people that sending me SSB:M screenshots is a good thing. I plan to purchase a video capture device soon, but until then, I want to see my inbox crammed with screenshots every single day. (Which, oddly enough, has become a concern now. HotMail doesn't like it when your account exceeds 2MB of storage space, and I have recieved several warning to this effect since I became a staffer. Fortunately, those suckers at MSN give you five days to get rid of the extra luggage, so it makes little difference.) |
