I have updated trivia. I'm going to filibuster so I don't have a three-line update. I've once more noticed a glaring lack in submissions; I got about 15 this week, and about that the previous week. This shouldn't happen. Submit. Why don't you submit? Is it because there's no prestige, like badges? Should I institute badges to get you submitting? Or would it be futile? On average, I've gotten about 25 submissions each week. That's less than 2% of the community. I'm ashamed at that. It's not like I'll mock you if you completely bomb on the questions. |

I just got an email from someone who is doing a Mother 3 on Gamecube petition with that petitiononline site. We've nothing to lose, so go sign it! Speaking of petitions, I've been considering one for a while now, but still am undecided as to whether or not it will be worth the MASSIVE effort it will require, especially since I'll be going into an unusually difficult semester of school at Purdue. So, since I spent like an hour thinking about it and typing this up, go to the Starmen.Net Forum and read my post in Starmen.Net Discussion, or be lazy and use the following link which I have so graciously provided: In other news, hits on the site are back up to their normal levels again, so I'll welcome everyone back. I'm sure you all have bleary, bloodshot eyes from playing your new games until the controllers melt; isn't Christmas break awesome? Satan aka video games kept me from updating earlier than usual. Yes, Smash Bros. Melee + Obsession = lack of updates. Still it's a very sweet game. :) Anyway, articles have been updated!

I don't want to seem like I neglect stuff or have no appreciation for stuff people send me, but it's important that people understand where I'm coming from, so go read that article. Other than that, the other two articles which have been put up this week are very cool, and you should go read now! Because people who eat weird pie like BOOGER pie(such as diospadre) are scarey and oftentimes will try to steal your megahertz. Okay, a lot of stuff this week, so listen up. First of all: Fanfics. Go get 'em. Just caught and so fresh! You need a bottle to put it it, though. Send more please. Next thing: I have a Gameboy Advance, an Ayumi badge, and a SM.Net hoodie. I have reached... Nerdvana. Plus I'm off my Accutane medication, which used to make me depressed. I don't know why I'm telling you all this, it just feels good to do a "personal" touch in the middle of a long update. Next, the Tetrinet tournament that everyone's been looking forward to. The way it'll work is this: Between 7 and 9 PM EST tomorrow night barring major complications, anyone interested in the tourney should go to #tetrinet on Dynastynet. I'll try to make sure everyone gets an equal number of games, and at the end of the night the top six scorers on the winlist get to go at it in the final round. There's just too many people for any sort of normal "round robin" or "elimination" structure to work, so hopefully this'll do the job. Next. Pizza. Because polentah, Bloop, Orbfighter, and a lot of other people said so. Man, am I using this position for evil tonight, or what? Finally, there's still time to enter the Holiday Funfest! Got my computer back up and running again. Yay! Also, I got a Gamecube, woo hoo! Smash Bros. Melee is an excellent game, and you can imagine the joy on my face when I started playing in Onett and heard that wonderful familiar EarthBound music. Actually, when I was buying Smash Bros today at an Electrionics Boutique in Circle Centre Mall in Indianapolis, someone next to me was talking about EarthBound. I was SO close to saying 'uhh *snort* i lik urfbownd' and then pushing up my taped glasses, but decided against it. Tell us about your crazy real-life EarthBound adventures on the Starmen.Net Forum, I made a topic for it in General Discussion. Predictably, hits on the site have gone way down. Thats because everyone is playing with their Gamecubes or whatever else they got. However, we expect stuff to shoot back up before too long. Foppy.Net alone is getting nearly 5,000 hits a day. Also, at the end of the funfests, hits always shoot up. Speaking of the funfest, SUBMIT TO THE HOLIDAY FUNFEST BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! :D

This is Yourmamasmama, not diospadre. I screwed up my password somehow so I'm using dios's. The first order of buisness is that I've posted the banner contest entries on the AoE page. I didn't post them here since there are so many of them. The winner of the contest has not been chosen, and I'm not going to do it because I think the new AoE staffer should be able to choose their own banner. That's right, I have decided that it is time for me to give up my position on the staff. I've given this a lot of thought, and I just don't have the time anymore to make the weekly updates required by a contest section on this site. I don't have a lot to say, so I'll make this short.
