The EarthBound/Mother 2 section has been updated again. This is a great batch of work. The always reliable Zantar adds another buddy icon along with first time submitter, Asaki. Also, just to clear up some confusion... I will still be running the EB/M2 section with whomever they new guy (or gal) is. This is guruzeth, the Official Toady of reidman*, with my comical sidekick, Super Buddha (who is unable to be physically present since images are still broken), who is present to make the very special announcement that we are seeking a staffer for the EarthBound/Mother 2 section. There are several important requirements for this job, so if you're interested, read on:
I want to stress that this is going to be a very important position, and a lot of responsibility is going to be involved with it. If you're still interested and think you have what it takes, listen carefully. Here's what you need to do. Right now, the EarthBound section is in a state of disarray. It is very difficult for a person to find specific things in the section (like game help, clay models, sound samples, and so on) because of poor layout/design. So if you want this job, we want to hear how you plan to improve the section. Go to the Mother 2 section, study it, and then tell us how you would re-organize it to make it easier for the average joe to use if he wanted to find something particular. Further, we want to know what you might have in mind to improve the overall quality of the section -- what's missing that you could add to the section? Do you have any ideas for new content that would be worthwhile? Most importantly, can you keep adding content at a rate that produces consistent, substantive updates? All ye who lust after this position, please answer these questions, and tell us anything else that might be useful information about you, in paragraph form -- a good application will be at least 3-4 decent-sized paragraphs. I just updated the Mother 1+2 section with some new new promotional scans, courtesy of ShadowX who sent them to me a few days ago. Also, as Jonk mentioned a few days back, the Mother 2 Item Guide has been updated to more closely match the layout of the Mother 1 Item Guide. If anybody has stuff that could be added to the Mother 1+2 section, just e-mail me. I really could use some more screenshots from various locales in the games, but I don't have time to make my own unfortunately. That's all for now. Boo! |

Hey, hope everyone had/is having a great spring break! I got back from my trip to Japan this week, and being the poor college student I am with little or no bling-bling, I scrapped my money together to get a scratched up used Gameboy Advance and a used copy of Mother 1+2. How's that for loyalty? ;P I didn't see any big ads in the stores for the game but there was a copy of Mother in every game store on the front shelf just waiting to be picked up, so that was good to see. Plus it was hard to find a used copy... who would want to get rid of that game anyway?  The MOTHER 1+2 has been updated with new translations guides. The Mother 2 Item Translation guide has been redone to fit alongside the new style of the NEW Mother 1 Item Guide. This is for those that are attempting to play Mother 1+2 course and have no idea what they have. Enjoy and remember, 1+2 will hopefully make it stateside!  While we are on the same note, The 1+2 series has expanded with some more merchandise to give hope for EarthBound coming back to the GBA for the rest of the world! In other news, with my triumphant return to the land of personal computerdom [ minus one 150 GB RAID 0 array :( ] the dev team is back on a roll.
