Oh yeah there should be a decimal point in there. Somewhere.
Anyway, congratulations and thanks to Clumsyrobot (autoshrek) for the final bid!

Mother 1+2 at Such Great Heights |

|
|
Well, our old friend Mother 1+2 appears to be quite a popular auction. This puppy has been bid up to $102.50 by autoshrek, who also made an appearance in the battle for the first mugz0r. And, if I'm not mistaken, I notice the name of an old fanart friend on that bid history.
The auction ends tomorrow afternoon, so stick around to see what happens. I'll probably be in IRC again giving a play by play, for those of you without eyes.
Oh wait.

First auction complete: $107.50! |

|
|
Well, the mysterious mistervi wins the day with his aggressive bidding and gets the first of two Starmen.Net mugz0rz for $107.50. I have a feeling he got himself a deal, compared to what the last mugz0r will go for ;)
The copy of Mother 1+2 is still up for auction, and is currently hovering around $40. We'll see how that goes.
And, in the future, yes, I will list auctions at a time other than 3:00 AM. Sorry :)
Congratulations to mistervi!
And my apologies to other donors (many of whom have made much larger donations) - I know there's not as much 'fame' involved, but a donation is a donation and you all have my undying love ;D
MEETING TOMORROW, TOO. BE THERE. SAME TIME SAME PLACE, BLA BLA.
Staffers, I will see you at a short staff meeting afterwards. Resubmitters should be there as well!

An hour left... |

and mistervi pulls into the lead with an $86 bid...
maudivzarn challenges his superiority, but mistervi fights back with a $96 bid. Is it getting hot in here, or is that the money being stuffed into the cracks in our website's bucket o' leaky finances?
dang. maudivzarn and mistervi still going at it, and our happy little mugz0r shoots up to $102.50. Who are these mystery financiers?
...the dueling continues up to $107.50 in the last 15 minutes...

Let the sniping begin! |

|
|
Alrighty folks, our first auction, the Starmen.Net mugz0r, has only 4.5 hours before the bidding closes! Set your sights and prepare your magic bullets. We've already well exceeded the 45 cent increase I was hoping for, so I'm quite happy ;D
Good luck bidding! I'll probably hop on IRC and do a play by play of its final moments, so feel free to join us. It'll be a nerd party.

Auctions in beautiful technicolor |

|
|
As you can see, I've finally got the next auction posted, which is a brand spankin' new copy of Mother 1+2. If you visit this website on a regular basis, own a copy of EarthBound which you've played in the past year, have a Nintendo DS or GBA, are out of high school or soon will be, and don't have a copy of this game, you're totally out of the club, man.
So go bid. And don't forget that the Starmen.Net mugz0r ends in two days. This is when the bidding wars begin. The mug is currently at:$71.00 I firmly believe we can have this number at least as high as:$71.45 by the end of the auction. Make me proud!
Feel free to come talk to us in the Fundraiser topic. Your input is appreciated, and helps us keep this operation at least as classy as an Auto Zone commercial.
Parts, parts, we got parts... Gosh, thats brilliant.

Updating while I am away on Spring Break? I either deserve a badge, or a smack to the back side of the head (or both).
Anyway, the first ever Starmen.Net Auction Fundraiser is a good one. There is a little less than 4 days remaining, so make sure you keep an eye on it!
Peace out from Summers. 4am updates 4 life.

Starmen.Net Auctions |

|
|
Sorry to interrupt reidman's longest consecutive main page posing extravaganza (which we all want to see more of), but here is a much needed update.
Support Starmen.Net today by bidding on Auctions.
It's good to see so many of you interested in this piece of Starmen.Net history. With only 8 days left I urge everyone who wants this mugz0r to bid all you can now. Only 50 were ever made, so don't miss out! Good luck to those bidding.

Iwata = the dude. |

AoE returns from the grave to report that Iwata gave a keynote speech at a developer's conference recently, mentioning EarthBound briefly. Not huge news (not news at all, really), but its cool to read anyway.

Starmen.Net Fundraiser Kickoff! |

|
|
Thanks to a little CSS help from sarcie, the first auction of the Starmen.Net Fundraiser is up and running! Go check out our First Edition mugz0r Auction and start bidding!
I think I'll have ShadowX be the official herald of the auctions and their progress from now on; I'll let you guys know when the next auction is ready to go up. Until then, you can talk about the fundraiser and vote on what you want to see auctioned next.
I'll be updating in the next couple of days about accepting auction donations. Hang tight til then, and thanks in advance for supporting Starmen.Net!

Auction Update: Minor Fakeout |

|
|
Remember the 4:30 AM updates I used to do years ago? Well, they're back, and they won't leave until they get peanut butter.
The auction isn't up despite accounting for my own time inadequacies. HOWEVER, it's not because of laziness, its because of this horrid obsession I have with design. Its sorta my job, so I overdo it. So the auction template is made:

Now all I gotta do is CSS'itize it and get it posted on eBay. New tentative date: tomorrow. Be sure to badger me about it, if you see me on the forum. Until then, remember not to talk to strange people. Plo, for instance.

Starmen.Net Fundraiser: Auctionation |

|
|
Hey folks, if you were at the meeting last night, you'll know that we're going to be kicking off the Starmen.Net Fundraiser soon. There will be some auction action taking place here in the near future; AFTER accounting for me time, I think the first auction will be ready tomorrow night. The first auction, you ask?
FIRST EDITION STARMEN.NET MUGZ0R.
I'd take time to hype this up now, but trust me, I'll be doing plenty of that in the auction itself. But seriously, if you guys are interested in 1) first edition mugz0rz (only 50 exist) or 2) helping Starmen.Net out financially, this is where it begins.

Meeting, and a long-overdue note |

|
|
Meeting gets rolling in about 2.5 hours. I haven't decided what this week's contest will be, but it will be sweet, have no worries there.
I'm pretty sure I mentioned this in one of the meetings already, but I finally got things updated and thought I should abuse my front-page powers. As you probably know if you visited the site earlier this year, I recently got married to the beautiful Camille Campos (a.k.a. Meeellla.
Even though I could attribute our meeting to a million different things/people/events (EarthBound, Itoi, Plo searching for EarthBound on Webcrawler eight years ago), this site still played a pretty integral role in bringing us together (hooray for the Starmen.Net conventions!)
Anyway, I don't know personally know ALL of you, but there are a lot of people I'd like to see this, so I'll just post it here.

Meeting tomorrow! |

|
|
Same fun time. This week I will be unveiling the eBay auctions for the Starmen.Net Fundraiser. So if you've got some cash burning a hole in your pocket, get ready to roll. I'll go over the items we're selling immediately, and what we might be selling shortly thereafter.
So, if you're interested in helping the site out, here are the times:
- Pacific - 5:00 PM
- Mountain / Arizona - 6:00 PM
- Central - 7:00 PM
- Eastern / Indiana 窶 8:00 PM
- Canadian Atlantic 窶 9:00 PM
The meeting is going to take place in #earthbound on Dynastynet (irc.dynastynet.net). If you've never used IRC for chatting before, check out the Chat section for more information.
