A whole bunch of weird junk has been happening today, but I hopped like mad onto the computar machiene tonight to make sure the Mailbag was updated in time. Yes, it's the new improved Fanfic update subject line thingy! Whenever you see that cool-looking -{F}- symbol, you'll know it's an update from Starmen.Net's favourite literary section! I got the idea from Zeth complaining about how nobody puts their section in the subject anymore. I don't have room to put the whole word in there, but I can totally see myself putting that thing in there. Hmm, kinda looks like a crest, maybe I should draw up a more detailed version... Oh, but that aside, yes, we've actually got new stuff this week!

Articles have been updated! A growing trend with articles has been having articles that aren't really finished. I've been getting a lot that have been a very nice start, but don't really pan out enough for me to post them. Please please PLEASE don't get discouraged if your article isn't posted! Work a little more on it and resubmit it. People have also been submitting articles that are too short. Let me remind you all to read the Guidelines.  Lurking Scourge of the Sewers by William the Artist One of the best galleries of video game fanart EVER has been updated with some great additions. I do apologize that you have to hunt through their galleries looking for the new art, but in the upcoming layout for the site, the newest will hopefully be pushed to the front of the gallery of the artist it was done by. Xod, this is what I want first and foremost for the gallery if you are reading this. The submissions for the webcomic should be closed by now but I wont be sitting down with reidman to talk about it until the end of the month. NP Siege 3 is still going on and I am starting to get some new entries and I will update that when I get back from a special trip to a special place that I will be taking a special package to a special and MOST IMPORTANT location. You will hear all about it in about a week. PS: my EB landscape series is now called "BOUND" and there should be an update in the forthcoming weeks on it. There is more than one reason why the series is called bound than what you think and you will like why it is in the end :) |

 There are only a few more days till you can submit for the starmen.net Webcomic. After the 20th that will be it, but I will be out of town for a while, so if you can sneak an entry in at your own risk while Im gone, so be it. As for NP Siege 3 I will most likely be extending the date slightly, but that doesnt mean to hold off on your entry. You need to get it done as soon as you can and send it off to me. Check out the entries and the guidelines at the NPS3 MAIN PAGE to help you with you own letter art. If anyone is having trouble with either, NPS3 or the Webcomic, please email me. One thing you can always expect from me is that I'll tell you in the TOPIC of the update what the topic of the update actually is. I prefer to put the random, irrelevant stuff in the actual update itself, rather than in the topic of it. So, as you might have guessed, the mailbag is updated! This was a fantastic first week, and we had a lot of letters, all of which were printed. If you're at all interested in what may lie ahead for Starmen.Net with all the exciting news lately, you definitely ought to read the mailbag this week. I think most of you will find one of this week's topics to be super sweet. It comes courtesy of EBounding, who urgently needs an answer to his question.
