So Trivia has been updated. Peculiarly, as I was checking this week's answers, I got most of the first six submissions (sorted by address) having all five questions right, and expected this to hold true for the entire set of submissions. Of course, Murphy's Law, which states that anything which can go wrong will go wrong, held. There wasn't a majority of winners this week, although one ought to congratulate AmzRigh, AtypicalChuck, BlueAntoid, Brandon, CodPor, Earthboundobsessor, MightierThanTheSword, Tommy Brooks, Kahran042, and Ravenshaw. |

It's not that big of a mention, but Mother 3 is scheduled to come out in Japan sometime. This is according to Nintendo of Japan's latest financial reports. The game is listed under "Games to come out April 2004 or later", and the game is specifically given a date of "Not Yet Determined". Also, the title of "Mother 3" is still not set in stone. It's still anyone's guess if the game makes it over here... but if it does, you guys better raid Nintendo and force them to let me translate it! Petition time??? |

It's with a very heavy heart that I must tell you that Chris MacDonald, known to most of you as Kao Megura, passed away earlier this week well before his time. There is more on their main page located here and I urge all of you to check it out. There is an e-mail address to send your thoughts and prayers to the family. If you've ever read an FAQ, or ever decided to write one, you probably owe him. He is 'THE REASON' that GameFAQs.com exists. His FF7 FAQ was on top of the 'Top Rated FAQs' for monthes at a time. If you didn't know him, take pride in knowing that he wrote for Mother (EB0). He was well-known all over the Internet, and he will surely be missed. As someone on the boards said today ... Much love to all the extremely patient fanfic fans out there, for after a month and a half's hiatus, fanfics is now updated! And what a massive update it is, so here we go:
That is all this week for fanfics. Keep sending them in and I will strive to maintain a more rigorous update schedule in the future. And speaking of which: Fanfics will, unfortunately, once again be on hiatus from June 18th to July 8th, as I will be in England. During these three weeks there will either be no fanfic updates or perhaps my good buddy (and the former fanfics maintainer) SimonBob will cover for me, if he has the time. This is just a heads up so you all know, even though it's a month away. Catch you all on the flipside. |
