| Sorry I haven't updated about EarthBound Funktastic GamePlay for a couple of days... my old computer's motherboard is toast, so I haven't been able to play EB, and I'm kinda depressed. Wowie wow wee... so many people (over 10) sent me better exit mouse update icons! You guys (and girls) are so awesome for taking the time to make one. I didn't actually expect anyone to make me one at all, so this comes as a big surprise. I love my new icon, notice when you put your mouse over the exit mouse, he not only moves... but he goes and sit's on a bench too! All that entrance finding must make him tired. The only problem is... I forogot who sent it to me! So please email me if you were the one who sent the icon I used, so I can thank you personally. Don't forget, the Wallpaper Contest is still going on until August 7th, so you still have plently of time to submit. I have been getting a lot of really good submissions. The winners for that will be revealed on August 10th. Who knows, you could be the proud owner of a brand new forum badge if you are one of the eight winners. And now onto Zantar's Weekly Icon! No regular article updates today, Kids. I Only got one (RaSeb <3) and I hate to update with JUST that. (Plus, I'm dead tired.) Considering I wasn't exactly around at the time of the essay judging, and I didn't get to give any honorable mentions. Some unusual circumstances prevented me from updating last night as I had originally planned on doing. However, the one benefit of the delay should have been a few more decent Theories submissions. Sadly that did not happen. Instead I was forced to put together the worst page of theories replies I have had the displeasure of reading so far. Please, don't repeat this performance. Go check out the new theories topic for this week and put something approaching a reasonable effort into your reply. Last week I received the fewest and worst replies I have received so far. Help theories bounce back this week. I should thank ScottyDog for coming to my aid when I realized that I was going to fall short of the standard 20 theories to update with. | SLing's Secret Screenshots is FINALLY updated! Photoshop now takes a bonus 40 minutes to load on my computer due to the fact that I just installed a new 120gb hard drive. Whether photoshop is just really afraid of the hard drive I don't know, but what I do know is it's time for me to find a new graphics program. Bye! | ||||||

Just so all you folks know, the new mailbag's going to be put up tomorrow and not today. I'm letting you all know this so some of you don't end up sitting around going "where is it omfg :(". The reason I'm giving the mailbag an extra day is because I want to get some more letters from some of the old regulars of the site on topic #3 in particular. In case some of you smell and don't check the lovely mailbag, here's that specific topic:

First off as a heads up, I'm going on vacation from now for like a week and a half. So I won't be around to argue about things in the new layout. :) I want to direct your attention to the Nintendo: What's to come topic. It has listed: Earthbound 0+1 Platform:Game Boy Advance Progress: USA Localization -- Release: 2004? Key Staff Involved: Mario Advance Port Team / S. Itoih Although it's unconfirmed and no source cited, any news is good news.  There's a couple of neeto fangames. The first one is the Earthbound Screen Saver. It is a screen saver "with animated battle backgrounds, the chosen four, and the Photoguy." A second neeto project is the Half-Life EarthBound Project.  They say that "HLEB is a half life mod based on EarthBound. The game will have an actual RPG style gameplay, while still being a multiplayer game. Well, tonight's continuum tournament went off really well, and next year's looks to be even better! I must say that it was an extremely close tournament... Much closer than either deg or I believed it to be. But in the end, the final scores were: SKUL's FREQ (freq 0): 27 minutes, 48 seconds DEGGER'S FREQ (freq 1): 32 minutes, 12 seconds Congradulations to Godeg's team, and great job to everyone who participated in the tournament. It really went off well, despite some confusion. Check out atty's battlyzed tourney stats right now to see how everyone did! DO IT! Thanks to atty and all his help with this year's tourney as well; he did a lot of work to get stuff working and get refs there and everything. Also, finally, thanks to DSB for being awesome, the ER's for working with us during the tourney, and everyone who came to play. Thanks for another great tourney, everyone! |

Yeah, so I got ensnared in a web of movies, video games, and soft drinks last night, and that inevitably leads to a round of everyone's favourite board game of world domination, Risk. A tip: under no circumstances should you ever let another player touch your armies when you're distributing them at the beginning. If I'd put my foot down and insisted that my entire force was going in Alaska, things would've gone down much differently. At any rate, I missed my update last night, which means I've got lots and lots of stuff for you today. Including but not limited to BRAND NEW FANFICTION! Huzzah.
And as if that wasn't good enough, there's also a new EarthBound Funktastic Game Play point up for you. Yes, it's those darn moles and their maze! If it were up to me I'd just leave them alone, but what can you do? Oh well. |

Here is an interesting new piece of Miscellaneous Merchandise. This T-Shirt was discovered a while ago but apparently it has been around for years. On the T-Shirt is the Mother 3 Band called D.C.M.C. which stands for Desperado Crush Mambo Combo. They are like the new Runaway Five in Mother 3. However, no band can ever replace the Runaway Five. Check out all the pics. Why there is a cat in some of the pictures is because who ever took them, owns a cat. Simple explanation. |

 Where in the World is Pokey Minch has been refreshed with a great new comic that will kill those summer blues while playing EarthBound. FANCOMICS has been updated with sweet comics to fill all those aesthetical Eboundiful hunger needs. Space Station Sigma didn't post its most recent comic last Tuesday because of some unforseen difficulties dealing with a backed up toilet and bad cheese in the fridge. Don't worry. Plo revived NinjaBoyNeo by punching him the gut with a pair of Hulk Hands while giving a chesire cat grin to an invisble camera and Meeellla shook her head in disappointment in the background. My best wishes go out to Meeellla for suffering through a horrible experience. |
