The reason it was kinda' substandard: before StarmanDeluxe quit, he deleted all the submissions he was going to use. You could say he got the first draft picks.  In other news, I got a new 19" monitor. I bring it out of the store, and I'm going to put it in my car, but it's too big to put in. So I'm in the parking lot of Best Buy, opening a monitor out of it's box and stuff and all of these people are looking at me. As you can tell by the screenshot, there's a new fangame. Jonk's just given me another bit of Mother 3 info, this time from gamesarefun.com. This little tidbit is from an interview with Benimaru Itoh (note: he is in no way related to Shigesato Itoi, although they are involved in the same project. Don't confuse the two.) Itoh (not Itoi) is the art designer for Mother 3, and also a comic book artist on the side. ANYWAYS, Itoh said that Mother 3 IS going to happen, and very soon. I'll quote the article: According to QUITER, at a recent Super Smash Brothers musical concert, comic book artist Benimaru Itoh revealed that an announcement regarding Mother 3 is going to happen very soon. Now, I understand that this may simply be a red herring, but it still looks VERY promising! Perhaps EGM's recent rumor of a new Mother coming could be what Itoh is talking about! I've added a search feature for searching the site(minus the new forum) and some hosted sites. The interface is bland, but it works well...mostly. UPDATE: I've been trying to fix some minor problems with it, so if it acts a bit weird today, that's probably why. |

Good news and bad news! The good news is that my POP3 mailbag account is now working perfectly. The problem? Tomato had given me the wrong password. So you can't pin this one on me. ^_^ This also means I can access the answers to StarmanDeluxe's last question. Thus, MAILBAG IS UPDATED! I guess that's what I get for sleeping only two hours at the Canadian SM.NET convention. The convention went off without a hitch except for a quite anticlimactic end to Ramza, Cyan, Dark_Prophet and Jamie_Ms visit. However, you'll have to wait until I'm done updating the convention page to find out what happened :). I'll update it later today. But now, it's time for your weekly SLings Secret Screenshots update! I am very sorry about not updating last week. The server change screwed some things up, so I have just recently gained the ability to add articles back. With that said, I have an important announcement to make. Starting this week, the official day for my updates will be Thursday. Now, I am not restraining myself to just that day.
