Hey people, I'm here to say that I'm nearly done converting the Mailbag section to nicetitude. After that all that's left is making the archive table and doing this week's bag. Because of a stupid ftp program I've only been able to put up the first ten mailbags. They start at www.starmen.net/mailbag/mb01.shtml and end at www.starmen.net/mailbag/mb09.shtml. Just replace that 01 with 02, 03, and so on. After you're done checking out those old bags, send me a letter! I just got done watching Gladiator on DVD, and let me tell you, it was sweet. Looks like I'm doing the Aquas thing. And before I watched that, I watched something even better. An old Jim Henson video called Neat Stuff that taught me how to sing scat and hang a spoon off my nose! It was fantastic. So I figured to make tonight a completely fufilling night, I would update the funfest with some more entries. There seem to be a lot of people out there asking why a lot of the links in the Fan Art section are dead. The reason, which you should already know from previous posts, is that the fan art section is being redone. Pics are being sorted into galleries, each artist getting their own gallery. The conversion is almost complete, though, hopefully it should be by tonight. Then I will need to write up a custom left side bar for it, so hopefully by tomorrow the fan art section will be back up. I can't say that for sure though. Anyway, if you want to see a few examples, try: so far, I think all the galleries from A to V are up right now, so go ahead and look at those if you're bored. Maybe you'll see some cool fan art you never saw before. But, don't mind the left sidebar of those pages, I just have a temporary one up for now. |

I'll tell you "what up," school's almost here for many of us! But have I begun to study for finals? Nope. Anyway, I added some more entries to the funfest, which ends on on New Year's Day. So instead of mourning over DBZ like I'll be, finish up those entries! And as for AoE, I replaced screamager's entry, with a new version he gave me, which has been corrected of previous errors. Sadly, this is the only major entry, so I will most likely drop major entries all together, and focus on minor entries. This will probably be a good thing, so stop crying. See, that wasn't so bad, now was it. |

I've redone the chat section, by fixing HTML, fixing other things, removing a lot of excess stuff we didn't need, etc. Please visit the section and find problems. I think maybe one of the best of IRC's might be a little messed up, whoever finds it gets a Lucky Sandwich. No, I don't think we'll have a chat person, so don't go applying for the job. And as you can probably already tell, we have a new links guy, and it seems he'll do pretty well with the section too. Also, I am flabbergasted (see my English is coming back to me) that nobody has really voted in this week's poll. Come on, go vote, or I'll have to go and cry. Updates have sort of slowed down a bit lately if you haven't noticed. I'm being a little nicer on the staffers as I work on that online walkthrough/FAQ of EB and other things. Don't worry though, things won't die. And in the coming month we will have another cool campaign/contest thing, with lots of mugz0rz for prizes. Yay! These mugs are so cool, I can't explain it in words. The Holiday Funfest is almost over, if you haven't submitted yet, hurry! You can still make it! Judging should be done by the 2nd or 3rd I hear. Good job on all the article submissions lately - keep it up! I always look forward to reading new articles, so I'm happy the section is starting to revive. Keep writing! Rune is in some other state or country until next week I believe, so that is why a new fanfic of the week has not been chosen yet. And, I don't really know what's up with the flukes section, Jeb2 promised he would update yesterday and today, yet I see nothing. Hmm.... I wasn't here last night, but I'm back to resume the payroll of merchandise that's been comin' in. Tonight's merchandise is the Everything of Mother 2 book, it's real cool cause it a has a bunch of info about Mr. Saturn's and stuff, hahaha. Okay, here's something you may not yet know, since Ourumov hasn't posted news here on the front page about it yet, but he's given the EarthBound Walkthrough/FAQ section a MAJOR updating! You have to check it out, I'm not kidding! Aiieeee! And, while we're on the subject of walkthroughs, I should report that Starmen.Net's huge online walkthrough/faq project has already begun. I don't have a lot to show, though, but let it just be known that me (the PK Hack guy, who knows ALL the stats and technical info), guruzeth (who knows everything non-technical about the game), and reidman (who can do some cool graphics and designs, such as this site) have teamed up to create the biggest, best, most awesuma EarthBound walkthrough/FAQ that will ever exist.
