Wow.  Nearly two months without an update.  I'll
try and be better with this, but with life being
a pain in the neck, I haven't had much time to do
any work online.  Whenever I do have free time,
I've been trying to work at being a better goalie
in Hockey Zone on Continuum.  It's lame, but I've
been trying to get into the league for a long
time.  Anyway, newsletter shouldn't be as
neglected as it was, so no worries.  Anyway,
there is ONE reason and ONE reason only for this
update.

Fourside. Thats a rockin place.  I'm a fan of the
big city. I'd probably dress up like a punk rocker
from the 80's and try to hit people up for money.
I would probably hang out in the north side of the
city.  And call people G.

the nicest suburban feel.

Here is a part of my last newsletter, that I
thought was amusing:

--- FLASHBACK ---

This Tuesday is wonderful for a couple of reasons.

1.) First Basketball game.
2.) Getting stitches out.

It's also sucky, for a few more reasons.

1.) Second day of school.
2.) Exams all day.
3.) Stitches removed could hurt.
4.) Portfolios due, yet to start.

--- FLASHBACK ---

Well, let's see.  It is a Tuesday now, and tonight
was our last Basketball game of the year.  I had a
huge night, as we won our 'Zone' final by a
two-point margin.  I went to the foul line with
less than a minute left, and sunk both to give us
a four point lead.  In other words, we didn't have
to play defense on the ensuing play.  Because of
my playing, I may get to represent my team at the
upcoming 'AA' All-Star game, where all AA teams in
Manitoba get to send a few players to play.  It's
going to be fun!  (Assuming I get to go.)

The stitches are gone, and I still have pain in
the side of my head.  Oh well.  Can't win them all
in the game of life, I say!

Now, school has been awesome this semester.  I
changed a few classes, and now I'm in 'Physics'.
It's challenging, requires a lot of homework, but
I'm enjoying it.  This class alone has almost
made "Internet life" non-existant.  We've had so
much homework lately, that I've been doing nothing
but.  Oh well.  School is always a good thing.

The exams didn't go that badly.  I passed every
one, and I got every credit.  Yes, even Chemistry.
You have to love how I studied EVERY thing that
WAS NOT on the exam, and still pulled off a 52.
Best of All-Time, man!

Stitches still hurt.  Blah.

And Portfolios?  Well, I completed each one, and
got every credit.  Even though I didn't get too
high marks, each teacher was proud of me for
actually doing something, and actually said how
much of a refreshing change it was to read my
work.  I loved the comments, and was proud of
myself for staying on task.  I actually have a
portfolio due Wednesday, and have a lot of it
done, so I don't have to do that much work on it.
This is good, as with Basketball provincials being
this weekend, and the drama production being next
week, I don't have a lot of time for homework.

Oh, did I mention drama production?  Being the
sarcastic idiot that I am, I was cast into the
starring role in the school play.  In other words,
I'm an act-or.  Yes.  Have to recognize.  I was
also cast in another school play to be put on the
same night, and I haven't given it as much
attention as I should have.  I have 117 lines in
the main play, and maybe 11 in the second.  Not a
lot to learn, but the main play is so much more
fun.

For people who I _have_ been able to keep in touch
with should know about the other 3 plays I'm in.
Well, we performed the one play on Saturday and
Sunday, and let's just say that I stole the show
with my comments.  The next play is in April,
after the school drama next Monday.  SO MUCH TIME!
(Sarcasm.)

Basketball went well this year, as I have really
improved, and we go into provincials ranked 5th
overall.  We could do well.  It all depends.

Another thing that is consuming my life, is the
only thing other than basketball that I am
allowing myself to do.  With all the homework, I
have to allow some sort of 'fun-time', and that is
Continuum.  I play 'goalie' in SSCX Hockey Zone,
and I want to win the 0ski Trophy someday for best
Goalie in the RSHL.  Someday ... maybe ...

There you have it.  School, drama, school, goalie,
basketball, school, and the other things that have
kept me off the Internet.  Notice how work isn't
up there?  I should probably start making money
again.  How sweet it was.

So when basketball is over, I'll have time for
the Internet and work, and hopefully newsletter
will ... well, not suck.  Then again, I'm never
really satisfied with my work.  Oh well.

I hope you enjoyed this long rant.  A lot of work
went into it, and I felt you guys deserved
something.  Anything at all.  Stay tuned, folks.
