 This 'week', we have JamesPicard_007!  How are

pretty good. 

[10:17:45 PM] <Carpainter> Now, to start, I notice 
that you're often using mIRC.  Is there a reason 
that you don't frequent #earthbound?

[10:18:39 PM] <JamesPicard_007> Well I just 
usually idled in there. Not quite enough excitment 
for this chap. 

[10:19:17 PM] <Carpainter> Was #earthbound ever 
'less-dull' for you, or did it progressively get 
worse?  Was it just not the channel for you?

[10:21:06 PM] <JamesPicard_007> There was a time 
when it interested me more, but as time passed it 
degraded and I lost interest in visiting. 

[10:21:50 PM] <Carpainter> But you wouldn't say 
the channel got worse?  You just lost interest?

[10:25:19 PM] <JamesPicard_007> Well I did notice 
that people were more wild than they would have 
been in months past, but I don't know if you could 
call that getting worse.

what have you been up to EarthBound-wise?

[10:27:16 PM] <JamesPicard_007> Well I've been 
attempting to write some more of my lovely 
fanfiction, but that's going slow. However I do 
have something in the works that I'll be doing 
next month.

bit of it?

[10:28:18 PM] <JamesPicard_007> It's a special 
little addition to EBFGPS. 

[10:29:23 PM] <Carpainter> As in, EarthBound 
Funktastic Gameplay Summer (Insert year here)?

There's still a few kinks that need to be worked 
out, but hopefully we'll get everything prepared 
in time.

I promised Simon I'd help him judge and I don't 
think it'd help me be impartial if I were to have 
an entry of my own in there.

Carpainter:  The gamblers in DDD.  Why can't they 
let us gamble too?!

MikeTheEBGuru:  territorial oaks and atomic robo 
crappers

EB_Girl:  Probably the camera dude.

Jim:  having to go through the monkey cave

Chrispy`:  probably the sesame seeds--since 
they're useless anyway

Gau:  Hmm..probably the Plague Rat of Doom.

LousySpy:  It's a toss up between the mandatory 
Runaway 5 and Venus performances, and the 3 minute 
password at Belch's base.  I don't want to sit and 
wait and do nothing, I want to take action.

chibi:  The fact that ff7.exe keeps crashing when 
people IM me or when I try to race chocobos ;_;
(Note from Carpainter:  LOL!)

Jamie_M:  Peaceful Rest Valley - It was really 
annoying to have to go through it to get between 
the towns at first - and it was really creppy - it 
gave this feeling of like "You dont wanna stand 
still here' - I hate those darn trees

dash:  The Video Relaxant, due to the fact that I 
labored hours upon HOURS to get it, only to be 
disappointed in it's lack of any practical use.

do0rkn0b:  probably the entire monkey cave thing, 
it was seriously boring

Man.  I suck.

School is finally over, and this my 2nd day off.  
I started this yesterday, and HAD to complete it 
tonight.  I have not been told once to update by 
reid, and I thank him for that.  Maybe he knows 
what I'm going through, but stressing at the end 
of the year sucks.

Since the last newsletter, the following things 
have kept me busy.  School, Girlfriend and Track & 
Field.  Work has had a minor role, but not enough 
to complain about.  I had to write 3 final exams, 
and HAD to pass them.  I also had a web site to 
complete for Web Design, and a few portfolios.  It 
takes a lot of time.

Whenever I did have free time at school, I would 
research some things that I'd be able to do during 
the summer.  I started watching Poker a few months 
ago, and started playing a bit during study breaks 
and such having minor luck.  Since then I've 
gotten better, and find myself making time for a 
800/1000 person tournament everyday.  Luckily, I 
can also put time aside for newsletter.  I'm sort 
of pumped about this.  I should be able to 
regularily update this.  I just have to get back 
into the SM.Net scene.  I didn't even know my 
buddy AoE had gotten the Mother2 section.  That's 
awesome news.

I'm planning something fun for newsletter, and 
should be posted for the next update.  Clue:  It's 
in HTML format.  lol
