Not so long ago, a boy started his journey in the year 199X.
He traveled through swamps, deserts, and even battled a T-Rex.
Through all this, he had his friends Paula, Jeff, and Poo.
Without them, none of this he could do.

Quiet Onett was a small suburban town
But here is where Ness started his journey down,
He fought through the gang of Sharks led by Frank,
And gathered the first song with the strength of a tank.

Next, Ness went down to Twoson, Eagleland.
It was home to the famous Runaway Five band.
Here Paula was captured by Carpainter of Happy Happy Village.
So Ness came in and a Franklin Badge he did pillage.

Some time passed and Ness ended up in Threed.
Because of the zombies, there were badly in need
Of a genious friend who could break them free
So, Jeff swooped in from Winters, as fast as a killer bee.

Soon in Summers they were joined by Prince Poo
Back in Dalaam, many girls did he woo.
Once all four were assembled, off to the past they dashed.
They went to take on Giygas, the one to be SMAAAAASHed!
